REPORTER: "Isn't the U.N. going to make an announcement on that?"

McCARTNEY: "I believe they are, yeh, but I don't want to sort of pre-guess them or whatever it's called."

REPORTER: "From the people you've asked have you gotten commitments that they will indeed play with you?"

McCARTNEY: "Yeh, we have actually, yeh."

    REPORTER: "Absolute commitments now?"

McCARTNEY: "Yeh. We've got some definite commitments on some people, but it's not exactly all lined up yet. But it's looking pretty certain that we will be able to do something."

REPORTER: "And how many performers besides yourself?"

McCARTNEY: "I should think there'll probably be about another four acts besides ourselves. or maybe a little more, taking place over a week yeh."

REPORTER: "And what would be the dates that you would like to have this?"

McCARTNEY: "In other words you'd like the statement right now?"

    REPORTER: "Yeh."

McCARTNEY: "Well, we haven't got it girl. No we can't really tell you unfortunately until the United Nations like announce it. But, you know that's the idea anyway is to do something for the refugees."

    REPORTER: "Why Cambodia?"

McCARTNEY: "It seems like one of the most needy places at the moment. You know you could do it for anywhere but Cambodia seems to have an urgent need."
