    Background: About 25 thousand students came on the Kingdom's streets with the banners, Play-cards and slogans to day to protest against the high prices of the essential commodities, impractical Education system unemployment, injustice in the scholarship, high tuition fee and high corruption in the Govt departments. This demonstration was organised by the Nepal Students organisation countrywide today. Students demonstration was organised today every where in the country. It is said that 64 students 64 Students were arrested by the police in connection of the demonstration in Kathmandu and many hundred were arrested in the other parts of the of the country.

    In a mass meeting here this evening after the anti demonstration the leaders of the students warned the Govt for the corruption in the Army and by the authorities. They charged that the Royal Army is involved in the smuggling of the banned goods from the third-country. One of the student leader said that the ministry has no right to stay any more because it failed in the administration and market price and smuggling has gone very high in the country. The students leader demanded their Six points to be fulfilled by the Govt as follows: - ---- 1, Free education up to S.L.C.S. Tuition free should be less in the higher studies, 2, Tuition fee should be less in the higher studies, maximum scholarship should be allotted according to the economic condition, - There should be students hostel in almost all colleges, 3, - Clothing, fooding and education materials should be allotted in a reasonable price to the students, 4. - Transportation and intertainments facilities in a good ways and 50% increments in the facilities. 5, -- Bonus for the unemployed educated person and 6, -- Free medical facilities for the students and reserve beds for the students in the all hospital in Nepal.

    The students leader warned the Govt. That if they will not take care of the situation of the country and students demand the consequences will be costly for the govt.

    After the referendum election in the country this was the biggest anti Govt demonstration in the country.
