The day marked the ninth anniversary of the founding of the Organisation of African States in Addis Ababa nine years ago.
During his speech, Major-General Aferi told newsmen that Ghana would revitalise her efforts in support of the liberation struggle in Africa.
In Ghana, Africa Liberation Day was also marked by symposium held in the country's nine regional capitals on the subject of "Liberation Movements in Africa."
