TRANSCRIPT: SEQ. 1: QUESTION: "Has your experience changed in any way your ideology?

DEBRAY: On the contrary, it made it more profound and more certain, I would say more certain. But in terms of tactics, my ideology may be now more flexible and willing to accept other means of action that only the guerrillas movement and the campaign. So more large, more extensive, more flexible and more intensive tactics. In terms of principles of course not -- a Marxist-Leninist ideology. I would do it again, in a more determined way and for personal reasons, and political ones too, that everything that occurs in Bolivia right now, and everything that will occur in the next future is, for the main part a consequence of the arrival, fight, and death of Che Guevara in 1967."
