    INTERVIEWER. "What's going to happen in the big fight Muhammed Ali, Joe Frazier".



    FRAZIER: "I don't think marbles has much to do with the fight game."



    ALI: "That marble you just saw, what you just saw with the marbles gonna happen in the fight. It's going to be a good fight and all of a sudden from nowhere jump tag Joe Frazier."



    INTERVIEWER: "Frazier what to do you say about that?"



    FRAZIER: "Well look this marble game is good but that fighting game is much different".



    ALI: "You say this has got nothing to do with the fight."



    FRAZIER: "When you see us tomorrow night we'll be up there doing."



    ALI: "Yeah we're gonna be getting along well we're gonna be dancing, we're going to be cooking."



    INTERVIEWER: "The reflex, the marbles? Does that have anything to do with it?"



    ALI: "No that don't have anything to do with the fight he's right but I'm going to whip him."



    FRAZIER: "I'm going to whip him."



    INTERVIEWER: "Which round?"



    ALI: ??? going to put some on you. I'm just gonna put some ???

    Background: In New York on Wednesday (January 17), Muhammed Ali avenged his defeat by "Smokin' Joe" frazier in the 'fight of the century' contest three years ago - but it was only at marbles.

    Frazier unperturbed by the defeat, predicted that he will win the boxing rematch at New York's Madison Square Garden on January 28. Ali in his usual dramatic style declared that he would be the victor.

    A New York Television station invited the pair to the marble contest which was played before an audience of children. The game took place on Ali's 32nd birthday. The fight promoters have suggested that Ali and Frazier should continue to a decision if there is a draw over the scheduled 12 rounds. Neither boxer has yet replied officially to the suggestion.

    Frazier, a former world champion himself, has since lost the title to George Foreman - another black American. The Ali-Frazier rematch could decide who has the next attempt at Foreman's world title.
