Background: Since April 11th a ship from the United States with a dangerous load of construction dynamite has been grounded on a reef 3 miles southeast of Carter Cay in the Bahamas. The crew has long since abandoned the ship, but the dynamite is just too dangerous to move. He ship was heading for South America when it ran onto the reef. Until the tides rise or some safe way can be devised to safely unload the ship, it will continue to remain on the reef -- and additional sight to amuse the tourists in the area.
