Background: It is often said that the plight of the Arab refugees from territory now occupied by the Israelis is not sufficiently publicised.
The Jordanian Government is seeking to remedy this, observers say, by setting up a small showpiece refugee camp near a well-known land-mark, the Allenby Bridge, now known as the King Hussein Bridge.
A police officer in charge of the camp said that the 35 occupants were expelled by Israel from occupied territory in two stages - one batch on January 31st and one on February 2.
