Background: At Wembley Stadium, U.K., May 6, Tottenham Hotspurs, the first Division League Champion, beating Leicester City 2-0, won the Football Association Cup - a "double" feat without parallel this century.
The two goals that brought their victory to this historic Cup Final before 100,000 fans - were scored in the second half by Bobby Smith with a right foot shot and Terry Dyson with a header.
For "Spurs", it was their third win in three F.A. Cup Finals. Their next step - the European Cup next season. The Duchess of Kent presented the cup to "Spurs" captain, Danny Blanchflower, who holds the 1961 title of "Footballer of the Year" in Britain.
