CU Clay speaking "Well, he challenged me......" SOF ENDS ".....timber!" SOF STARTS:
TRANSCRIPT: Clay (SEQ. 2): "Yes, well he challenged me about a few years ago before they took my title back in 1967, (indistinct three words), and I thought he was joking, but I found out from other black basketball players that he's a good fighter. He's beat a few of them on the courts, much bigger than me, and he's strong. Milton Gross was telling me a story about how he held up a car while somebody was changing the tyre. He's got strong legs, a strong mid-section. I see him running up and down basketball courts all night which is a hard job. I've tried a couple of times, and it's rough, basketball. And he's strong, and one fellow said, 'Why are your picking on a basketball player for, he can't fight,' and my question was 'Have you ever seen any black man on the street that couldn't fight?' So, he's strong, he's heavy, he's got the reach, and I would say he's more skilful at boxing than Joe Frazier is."
Reporter: "Any predictions?"
Clay: "One prediction. Timber."
