    Background: The veterans of the 1st World War, celebrated for the 43rd time, the anniversary of the Battle of the Year. (Flanders)
    They came from all parts of the country with their flags, emblems of their Victory, to defile before King Baudouin.

    The King arrives on the square of the Palace, where he is greeted by the members of the Government.

    The King greets the disabled veterans (invalides) and shakes hands with all of them.

    After the King has taken place on the tribune, a military band opens the review.

    Proudly the veterans of the two World Wars, march past their King. The soldiers of the Yser do not forget.
