    Background: James Zarb, the 42-year-old Briton imprisoned in Cairo, United Arab Republic, for alleged spying, was released from Turah Prison, Feb 6. President Nasser signed the release order the previous night - but Zarb had been free half an hour before the British Embassy was told.

    He had done four-and-a-half years of a ten-year sentence imposed in 1956. He is to fly to London, UK, Feb 7. Zarb's family spent Christmas 1960 with him at the Prison.
