    Background: On January 23rd the visiting prime-minister of Great Britain laid a wreath on the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow, as a tribute to the Soviet soldiers who lost their lives as heroes.

    Present during the ceremony were the Soviet deputy foreign minister Mr. Kozyrev, and the Soviet ambassador in Britain Mr. Smirnovksy.

    Together with Mr. Wilson were the party accompanying him on his Soviet tour and the British ambassador in the Soviet Union Sir Jeffry Harrison.

    WILSON CALLS ON BREZHNEV
    The general secretary of the Soviet Communist Party Leonid Brezhnev received the visiting prime minister of Great Britain Harold Wilson.

    They exchanged opinions on urgent international issues, as well as relations between the Soviet Union and Britain.
