    EIGHT PLANES - THEY'RE MILITARY VERSIONS OF THE BOEING 707 -- ARRIVED AT THE AIRPORT EARLIER IN THE DAY TO TAKE ON THE EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED FROM A NUMBER OF U.S. BASES IN EUROPE.

    ONE REPORT SAID THE FIRST AIRCRAFT TO LEAVE WENT BY WAY OF TURKEY, WHERE AMERICAN PLANES ARE TO PICK UP MOUNTAIN ARTILLERY GIVEN BY THE TURKISH GOVERNMENT TO HELP INDIA.

    IN NEW DELHI, MR. JOHN GALBRAITH, THE U.S. AMBASSADOR, SAID TODAY THAT THE AIRCRAFT WOULD BE FOLLOWED BY MORE EQUIPMENT BY SEA AND AIR. IT WAS ALSO REPORTED IN THE INDIAN CAPITAL THAT THE SOVIET AMBASSADOR HAS GIVEN MR. NEHRU A MESSAGE FROM MR. KHRUSHCHEV. IT CONTENTS HAVE NOT YET BEEN MADE KNOWN.
