The Superjet, 747, in service in 1969 will make travel available to more people through greater payload and lower operating costs...and soon, The Concorde, man's first supersonic airliner...scheduled for service in 1971...by 1975, a mighty boost of power with America's first supersonic transport. And beyond, perhaps space travel, all within the lifespan of many now alive.
