Background: President Eisenhower finds time for a round of golf during his visit to Ottawa. Included in the party with Mr. Eisenhower is the Minister of Transport, Mr. Hees. The American Head of State appears carefree despite a report that two suspicious men----one of them carrying a case that could have contained a rifle----were at large in the area. Mr. Eisenhower apparently ignored the report and shot a creditable ninety, to win the match. The Presidential group finished its outing as an augmented security force reported no trace of the two men. The men were taken to a nearby sideroad by a taxi driver who reported the suspicious incident to police. Presidential Press Secretary, Mr. Hagerty, has stated that not too much importance given to the report.
