American Astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man on the Moon, has taken an administrative post in Aeronautical research in the National aeronautics and Space Agency.

TRANSCRIPT: SEQ. 5: DR. PAINE: "Neil, if you'll put your right hand on the bible and raise your left hand or....put your left hand on the bible and raise your right hand... That was the previous administration where we raised the left hand.
The responsibility for maintaining this technological lead now falls in the research phase for which NASA is responsible on Neil Armstrong. Now all of us at NASA are completely confidence that we've got the right man for this job and Neil indeed will turn in a performance that will allow the United States to keep that five to ten years in advance of other nations in aeronautical technology which is really the foundation upon which out aerospace industry is based and indeed much of our prosperity and security here in this country. So Neil we welcome you aboard and wish you the very best of luck in your new endeavours."

He was sworn in recently by Dr Thomas Paine, head of the Space Agency, in a ceremony at Houston Texas. Mrs Armstrong was on hand for the occasion and Mr paine got a big laugh from the audience when he made a mistake in the Oath-taking ceremony.
