Background: The administrative Council of the multinational airline Air-Afrique met in Fort Lamy the Chad capital on Monday (31 January) to discuss financial and other problems following the withdrawal of Cameroun from the company.

The delegates received assurances from Chad's Minister of Transport Mr. Adoum Aganays, and from the Airline's Director-General Mr. Cheick Fall, that the company would be able to overcome financial and other difficulties.
