Background: About 100 Americans resisting in lebanon demonstrated here today in protest against the sending of U.S. arms to Israel. The demonstrators, members of "American for Justice in the middle East" and other American families living in the country, shouted slogans criticising U.S. policy, including "No more phantoms". A delegation representing the protestors, accompanied by a police officer presented a petition to U.S. Secretary of state Hanry Kissinger through Mr. William Buffam, the American Ambassador in Beirut.
