Background: President Etienne Eyadema of Togo, who is on a two-week visit to West Germany, toured the 1972 Olympic Games site near Munich on Tuesday (June 1).
It was announced later that the President would extend his stay in Germany by two days, leaving on Friday (June 4) to return to Togo. His visit was prolonged so that he could inspect industrial and agricultural enterprises in Bavaria.
In Munich the President also visited food packing factories as well as the Olympic site. Earlier he had visited Bonn and West Berlin and had meetings with the Chancellor, Herr Brandt, and leading officials of the West German GOVERNMENT.
