The previous Government - headed by Antonio Segni who has new become the President's invitation to form a Government, Mar 25, and immediately announced his list of Ministers. All are members of the Christian Democratic Party, meaning that Italy will again have a minority Government.
Organizer of a war-time resistance movement, Signor Tambroni first became a Cabinet Minister in Signor Pella's Government of August, 1953. In the last Government he was Minister of the Budget and of the Treasury.
Signor Tambroni - lawyer by profession - is considered a logical choice at a time when the prime need is for a Government to conduct every-day affairs, such as getting the Budget passed.
