Craig Cholar says
I believe this is the first F-100 Zero Length Launch, on 26 March 1958, piloted by North American Aviation’s Albert “Al” R. Blackburn as the test pilot. The aircraft s/n of 56-2904 matches the first flight, at least.
Blackburn reported a smooth ride during the rocket takeoff and transition to jet power. Despite the boost motor striking the belly of the F-100 (causing superficial damage) the test was considered a success.
