INRoss says
This film was shot at the RAF Regiment Depot, Belton Park, near Grantham. HM King George VI signed a Royal Warrant on 6 January 1942 and the RAF Regiment formed at Belton on 1 February 1942. From August 1946 the Depot moved to RAF Catterick.
www.BeltonRAFDepot.uk provides a detailed description of the camp. The buildings and blast shelter seen in the movie are identifiable from maps and aerial photographs available on that web site. Alma Park Industrial Estate now covers the parade ground and most buildings are demolished, but some remain in use to this day. The open land and wooded escarpment seen on some shots was used for training and now belongs to the Woodland Trust. It is accessible. Above ground military archaeology from WW1 & 2 remains visible if you know where to look!
