Background: The Liberian Minister of Information Dr. Edward Binyah Kesselly has been discussing co-operation between his country and Taiwan during a recent five-day visit.
Dr. Kesselly was in Taiwan at the invitation of the Director General of the country's Information Office - Dr. Frederick Chien. During his stay Dr. Kesselly also met Mr. Shen Chang-huan, Taiwan's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Wellington Tsao, Director General of Taiwan's Tourism Bureau.
On Monday (4 March) the day after his arrival Dr. Kesselly visited the National Palace Museum in Taipei and the offices of Taiwan's Television Service. The following day he was shown tourist attractions near Hualien on the island's east coast and rural development like a marble factory.
Dr. Kesselly's visit ended on Thursday when he left for Hong Kong.
