TRANSCRIPT: PAISLEY: "WE'RE GOING TO LISBURN AFTER ALL. I'M SIMPLY TELLING YOU THAT THIS PARADE IS BANNED. WE HAVE ALWAYS MAINTAINED THAT WE WORK WITHIN THE LAW AND HAVE ALWAYS WORKED WITHIN THE LAW, ALTHOUGH BERNADETTE DEVLIN AND THE CIVIL RIGHTS CAN DO WHAT THEY LIKE. WE AREN'T THOSE WHO OPPOSE LAW AND ORDER. WE WILL WORK WITHIN THE LAW. THE LAW OFFICERS OF THE CROWN HAVE DECIDED THAT THIS PARADE IS ILLEGAL. THE MINISTER OF HOME AFFAIRS CLEARED THIS CAVALCADE WITH THE PRIME MINISTER'S DEPARTMENT AND WHEN IT WAS CLEARED THE PRIME MINISTER APOLOGISED HE COULDN'T MEET US BECAUSE HE'S IN HIS OWN CONSTITUENCY TODAY AND THAT CAPTAIN LONG WHO'S A MEMBER OF THE GOVERNMENT WOULD MEET US OFFICIALLY. THEN WE GOT ON TO THE MILITARY AND IMMEDIATELY THE MILITARY HEARD WE WERE GOING TO LISBURN THEY DICTATED THE POLICY AND THIS IS MILITARY DICTATORSHIP. THE MILITARY SAY NO HE'S GOT TO BE BANNED AND THE CAVALCADE HAS GOT TO BE BANNED, AND IT'S NOT THE LAW OFFICERS OF THE CROWN. THIS IS A MILITARY DECISION AND THIS CONSTITUTES MILITARY DICTATORSHIP."
