TRANSCRIPT: DUNBAR: "More than 130,000 fans jammed the international speed-way for the world's richest Stock Car race. Donny Alison and A. J. Foit (Phonetic) had the front row positions, but it was Carle Yarborough, charging into the lead on the 14th lap. Five time winner Richard Peddy (phonetic) experienced oil line problems at the start and trailed the field. Following repairs, Peddy moved up with the leaders only to have a broken valve end his victory hopes. Last year's winner dropped out with similar problems. Strong gusty winds caused several spins. Bobby Wawak (Phonetic) hit the wall coming off the fourth turn. The car burst into flames. Wawak was out fast but he suffered burns on his hands, face and legs. Doctors say it may be several months before he can drive again. Yarborough continued to lead as Donny Alison and Foit dropped back. Leny Persons (Phonetic) kept after Carle for the final 100 miles. But Yarborough had enough power to withstand the challenges and win with an average speed of ?? miles per hour (about 2??? kms an hour).

Buddy Baker was third, Janet Guthrie finished 12th. This is Walt Dunbar at the Daytona International Speedway."
