Background: Fashion experts are not only becoming more ingenious in their designs but also in the way they project them.
At Surfers Paradise, near Brisbane in Australia, they staged a fashion show at which all the models arrived by car.
Actually it was more of a contest of the best design and flashiest car - a combination of the two. Some of the models were almost as vintage as some of the cars.
In recent months, cars have come in for heavy criticism in the controversy over pollution, but none of the guests at the gals - the men in particular - complained about any of these social pollutants.
As the evening wore on and the champagne flowed, the designs exposed more of what Surfers Paradise is famous for: flesh.
In the end the guests agreed it was all too good to have any losers.
