    MARGOLIS: "Roger, I have both those numbers, what is the message please? Over."



    HUSSEIN: "Just tell Princess Muna...my very best...all is fine here."



    MARGOLIS: "Roger, that's fine. I don't know if you can say how things are and how you are -- I presume everything is fine. I'm very glad to hear from you, and I shall be listening out for you and if there's any other message to come back I will be around here...go ahead...

    King Hussein is a keen radio hobbyist, and he has spoken to Mr. Margolis quite frequently in the past. But last night's conversation was only the second since the outbreak of fighting in Jordan.

    The King asked Mr. Margolis to convey a message to his wife, Princess Muna, who is staying in London at the moment. King Hussein's message to his wife was "Everything is fine here." Reception of King Hussein conversation was occasionally garbled. A full transcript of the conversation follows:
