Background: Egyptian government leaders including President Sadat Saudi and foreign diplomats and other notables attended a state banquet tonight at the Kubbet Palace, Cairo, for King Khaled of Saudi Arabia, who arrived in Cairo today on a five day visit. The banquet, held in the gardens of the palace, climaxed the king's first day in Egypt...the first country he has visited since assuming the mantle dropped by the assassinated King Feisal in March. Tomorrow, King Khaled and President Sadat take a special train to Alexandria, where they will spend two days. The King and the President held a brief meeting in Cairo tonight before the banquet.
