REPORTER: More than 10 million pounds has been spent on turning Wembly's old ten-pin bowling alley into the lavish new squash court, which the Duke of Edinburgh opened today....

...There are 15 courts including the championship areana...

...which alone has cost 50,000 pounds

...has been designed withTV in mind.. in an effort to increase the sports spectator appeal....

"The interesting thing about this centre is that it is open to the public, because we're bascically restricted in the sport because most of the clubs are private...this means an oppertunity for people to come off the streets and play.

The game of squash is 150 years old, but no one's absolutely sure how it started...give the credit to theinmates of Pentonville Jail.
