    01:16:34 We see passengers embarking. Several carry large bunches of flowers. Baggage is sent on a "sliding staircase" or conveyor belt on to the ship. Suitcases, hat boxes, golf clubs and trunks are seen. Shots from deck as the liner leaves the docks. Top shot of the Cunard Pier Head as the liner moves off. People wave. The ex-German liner Leviathan is seen in the background. The bridge of the Aquitania is seen - men stand and look at the New York skyline. The Statue of Liberty is shown as the liner passes. A New York ferry boat passes by. Dropping the pilot - small rowing boat approaches larger ship.

    01:22:05 The "Cunard Daily Bulletin - the first ocean wireless newspaper" is distributed by a group of young uniformed boys. Passengers pay the boys for their papers in the lounge and on deck. Passengers on deck on deck-chairs/loungers with blankets and hats to keep out the cold. Children play ball and have running races on deck. Adults play a game (deck quoits?).

    01:24:14 Commodore Sir James Charles, Captain of the Aquitania and other officers on deck using sextants. Boxing match on deck. A boxer has his glove tied on by his trainer. A fight ensues. Two pairs of men box blindfolded in a ring on board. A crowd of spectators watch the action. A game of deck tennis takes place. The crew of the ship line up then run off to perform lifeboat duty. Waiters in uniform serve afternoon tea to passengers in the garden lounge. Fire drill. Passengers relaxing on deck. Shot of wake of ship. Approach to Cherbourg harbour.
