    M/S of a battalion of soldiers marching past King Alphonso who stands on a raised platform. C/U of two high ranking officers holding a flag, one by one young soldiers come and kiss the flag. C/U of very high ranking officers - one could be Alphonso - watching the ceremony from horseback. M/S of the new soldiers walking under the flag held up by two officers.

    Intertitle: "GENERAL PRIMO de RIVERA, 'the Spanish Dictator', addresses recruits".

    M/S of the General giving a passionate speech to a battalion of soldiers and officers. C/U of the General saluting his troops.

    After a few seconds of white spacing, there are some shots of an elderly woman in ermine robes and a younger woman in a black veil leaving a church accompanied by men in military uniforms with tricorne hats. The women stop to shake hands with more men waiting outside the church who also wear military uniforms and white cloaks. It is unclear whether these shots are part of this story, although the clothes and costumes have a Spanish feel ...

    The elderly woman in ermite robes is Isabel de Borbón y Borbón, the Infanta Isabel, "La Chata" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infanta_Isabel,_Countess_of_Girgenti
    The younger woman in black is very likely to be her lady-in-waiting Juana Bertrán de Lis y Gurowski (or maybe her sister Margarita Bertrán de Lis y Gurowski, also lady-in-waiting to the Infanta)
