The group of people who walk out of The Johnny Todd pub are folk group The Spinners, who sing most of the background music in the video. They appear later in the film and are identified then (and in the final credits). The background music while the children are playing is by another Liverpool group, Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas. The song is, not surprisingly, called 'Little Children' which was a hit at the time.
