    Amendment October 2011: A visitor to the site has provided us with the following information: The Lotus featured is a Lotus Elite. The Vauxhall is a Vauxhall Firenza. The "Ford family car" referred to is a Cortina Mk 3 Estate. That is immediately followed by footage of a Ford Falcon GT.

    Reducing this clip's current date range, the L-registered Vauxhall Firenza means filming can have taken place no earlier than August 1972. Secondly, the Lotus Elite featured heavily at the start of the clip appeared for sale in 1974. I think therefore the date range could comfortably be reduced to 1972-74.

    The footage of the above Motor Show was taken in October 1973 and the DTV Vauxhall is a Magnum, not a Firenza, thanks. GHOSTHUNTER, AUGUST 2014.
