M/S as artist Frank Slater enters with his board. M/S as he approaches comedian Arthur Riscoe who is sat in a chair. He sits down and starts drawing him. There follows a conversation about why he wants to do his portrait, with the comic being self deprecating and saying Slater should draw a cow instead.
Riscoe comments that he does a bit of drawing himself, and finds the most difficult thing to draw is a horse in the sweepstake! Slater shows him one portrait which he is pleased with. He draws another and they continue a conversation as he draws. He tells Riscoe he is drawing his nose, the comedian asks if he has enough paper. Slater shows him the finished profile and Riscoe says he still thinks he should have drawn the cow.
