    GV pan, the new sports centre at Hurlingham Park. SV crowded grandstand swept by rain. LV Dr Roger Bannister at mike on rostrum on which are local dignitaries and members of the Variety Club (raining heavily.) SCU Bannister talking (natural sound): "...Its an honour to come... the weather could be better... an historic occasion... proud to play a part in it." SV Bannister leaving rostrum to break tape. SV crowd applauding, raining heavily. SV Bannister breaks tape and walks away. LV crowd applauding. SV Tessie O'Shea clowning as she walks through mud with other members of Variety Club.     I I believe this took place at Hurlingham Park, Fulham not Buckinghamshire. It was acquired through a CPO by the LCC in 1951.
