US ex-servicemen get a great welcome from their comrades as they join the 'Bonus Army'.
Unused / unissued material - no paperwork - dates unclear or unknown.
Fort Hunt, United States of America.
A bus travels along a crowd lined road. It stops and men get off to the cheers of the crowds. Many of the men are wearing American army caps and parts of uniforms. The men celebrate their arrival.
The new arrivals queue up outside a building and receive bedding and plates etc.
The men walk quickly from a row of tents as a bugler plays the reveille. Pan across rows of tables set up outside for eating. The men are seated eating and drinking, there is a great deal of chat.
SV of the men eating and chatting.
N.B. I think the Bonus Army was a Veterans organisation set up during the depression - any information welcome.
