Two-year-old Andrew Brader helps out at his father's farm in Willoughby, Lincolnshire.
M/S of farmer, Anthony Brader, working in a field, cutting down some kale. His son, two-year-old Andrew, enters shot, riding on an engine powered trolley and jumps down to help his father stack the kale on the trolley. Anthony then sets Andrew on the trolley, and he walks off with Andrew following on the trolley.
Commentator tells us Andrew "travels about the family's 13 acres on his own 3 horse power tractor" and goes on to explain it is all legal as the machine qualifies as a garden tractor. M/S as Andrew arrives at the hen pen where his father is waiting. They take the kale into the enclosure; Andrew leaves some in a pile there - some of the bits of kale look bigger than he is! Nice shot of chickens going in and out of hen house.
Andrew trundles along on his trolley with two buckets of chicken feed; he takes the smaller bucket into the enclosure and throws the feed to the hens; C/U of hens pecking and strutting round their house.
Off on the trolley again, Andrew has collected some eggs in his bucket. He stops the trolley and picks up the bucket; one of the eggs falls off and smashes on the trolley base. C/U of hens pecking. M/S and C/U of Andrew as he wipes the eggs with a cloth and packs them into boxes.
Note: there is a newspaper article on file about Andrew and a large picture of him grabbing a chicken by the tail.
