Elvira Henderson, niece of Alexander Henderson, 1st Lord Farringdon. Took London by storm as Betty Blunders in 'Where the Rainbow Ends' at Garrick when she was 10 yrs old. Then in Midsummer Nights Dream at Savoy. Trained at Italia Conti school. Was one of the most charming flappers at 16 yrs. Went on up the hill of success on stage, under Noel Coward, understudy of Gertrude Lawrence, went to USA with Jack Buchanan to show Charlot's ''London Revue of 1924' to America, returned to UK to appear in many more stage performances. Her portrait can be seen on line. She was my mother. Married John Humphreys who was also on stage in London and various parts of the country.
