    The lovely Eileen Sheridan set records as an amateur before she joined Hercules in 1951 as a professional rider and at one time I believe I am correct in saying held all 21 ladies cycling records including the Lands End to John o'Groats record. That was done in 1954 in 2 days 11 hours and 7 minutes and she went on to break the ladies 1,000 mile record in 3 days 1 hour. There was not much of Eileen but she certainly packed a punch !
