    Various shots taken at the farm of Vincent Tregis, Lithuanian born tobacco planter, near Delhi, Ontario. LS. Tobacco field with men working and a horse drawn cart in which the newly picked leaves are carted to the kilns. Harvesters making their way between the rows. LS. Pickers, naked to the waist, piling bundles of leaves into the horse drawn cart. CU. A picker at work. MS. Men stop for a drink of water, which they ladle out of a bucket and then throw the rest of water over each other. LS Loaded carts going to the kilns. CU. A tractor with load of tobacco coming in from the field. MS. The tractor pulling up to the stringing table at which men and women are working. CU. Leaf handlers sorting fresh leaves and handing them to stringers. Various shots of the stringing and tying process, leaves being fixed separately onto a long horizontal poles for drying purposes. CU. Head shot of a worker. Various shots of strings of leaves being handed into the drying kilns. CU. A man climbs a ladder to examine leaves in the drying kiln. MS. A truck is loaded with cured leaves from a kiln. Tractor drives off. Several shots of the two men sitting in a porch discussing the quality of sticks of tobacco. LS.     Fantastic film, of great interest to those in the area. But please note that you have tagged this with the words "New" "Delhi" "India". It's a long way from New Delhi. This is Delhi (pronounced Del-high), Ontario, Canada. Thanks for posting all these wonderful films, Pathe!
