    The commuter car, driven by its inventor Robert Collier, comes towards confined space. High angle shot showing the commuter car turning circle in its own length. M/S showing the commuter car parking beside another. C/U and M/S Robert. He walks to the rear of the car and removes hood. M/S as the driver of the car now lifts a section in the back of car to make room for rear passengers. M/S as the driver removes panel at front to show a single wheel and engine.

    remember Bob so well great friend and inspiration to us all . The car was genius sad the concept never went into production I worked with Bob on the chariot in his back garden .and when he got finance for prototype development worked with him in the Erdington factory Happy days .should Viki,jean,kathy of the collier clan or anyone else from the factory read this and remember me (tony with the sidecar)would love to hear from you .

    great to see my Dads city car on the Pathe News feed.
    Such a shame it never got into production.

    At my 9th birthday party, all of my friends had a drive of the city car round the garden - so easy. :)
