Mario D'Agata, Italian Bantamweight Champion loses his world title to Alphonse Halimi.
Bantamweight World Title boxing match between World Champion, Italian Mario D'Agata (who is deaf and dumb) and French Champion Alphonse Halimi, in progress. SV. Boxers sparring. D'Agata throws a right and Halimi counters with a right. They back away. CU. General scrapping, D'Agata trying to get into the body. LV. D'Agata has Halimi against the ropes as they exchange blows. SV. Boxers more or less wrestle with each other. LV. Each boxer flings a flurry of punches at each other, D'Agata has Halimi against the ropes again. Halimi lands a nice right. CU. Nice left from D'Agata, but Halimi fights back and they go into a clinch. Referee parts them. Halimi flings a nice left but D'Agata puts a right to the body. LV. A lovely uppercut from Halimi as they slog it out against the ropes. Referee breaks they again. SCU. Mauling in the middle of the ring, & SV. LV. D'Agata is working on Halimi's body against the ropes. Halimi comes up with a nice right to the jaw followed by another. There is a flurry of blows following with Halimi against the ropes. SCU. General brawling. LV. D'Agata goes in with vicious left and pins Halimi against the ropes and a flurry of punches follows. SCU. Referee breaks them. LV. Boxers back into each other and again Halimi is pined against the ropes. They just swing at each other. Referee pushes D'Agata away and holds Halimi's hand up as the winner. Crowd gather round him in the ring. CU. Loser looking dejected. CU. Winner holding up his hands. LV. Winner hoisted up on shoulders among press men and supporters in middle of ring.
