People demonstrate in Peking, China.
Demonstration in Beijing (Peking); China; 1923; in honour of President Li Yuan-Hung.
MS people marching up road (towards camera) waving banners (many of the signs are for army recruiting - join the army and save the country etc.).
Crowd with banners in front of large building. Man (the President?) on platform making a speech; many others stand on platform behind him; people below waving their hats.
(Li Yuan-Hung was vice-president of the new Chinese Republic under Yuan Shih-k'ai; and assumed leadership after the latter's death in 1916. He was forced out the next year; again became President in 1922 and was again forced out in 1923.)
