    Empire Pool Wembley, London. Terry Downes beats 'Sugar Ray' Robinson in middleweight boxing match.

    GV Two boxers beginning to box in the centre of the ring Downes having come from the corner on the left. SV The two fighters as Downes fights off an attack and drives Sugar Ray around the ring. SV Downes attacking. GV Downes drives Robinson onto the ropes and Robinson neatly slips out of trouble and catches Downes with a good left to the head but Downes stands his ground. SV Robinson on the ropes as Downes gets in some punches to the body and head. SV Crowd. GV Downes on the attack lands a good punch and Robinson moves away. SV As Downes moves in Robinson goes onto the ropes and Downes gets in some good punches while Robinson is on the ropes. SV Mr Ernest Marples, Transport Minister and Charles Forte. SV Robinson going after Downes but Downes fights back and Robinson backs away to the centre of the ring Downes goes after him. GV Downes and Robinson trading punches. CU Two women in crowd.

    GV The fighters coming out for the last round they touch gloves and move round the ring and Robinson gets home some very good punches as he piles on the pressure and drives Downes towards the ropes. SV Robinson punishing Downes who is on the ropes. CU Frankie Vaughan looking on. GV Robinson still attacking as the bell goes for the end of the fight the boxers part and walk across the ring together. The referee walks over to Downes and raises his hand declaring him the winner. CU Man in crowd. SV Downes. CU Downes. CU Robinson showing the cut over his left eye. SV Two women in crowd. SV Downes and Robinson.
