Various shots, the Honourable Catherine Sidney, daughter of the Governor General Lord De L'Isle, mounts the rostrum and performs the ceremony. Low angle, MS Catherine Sidney speaking: "I name this ship "Empress of Australia". I congratulate those who have so faithfully and skilfully constructed her. May God bless her and all who sail in her." (Natural sound). CU The bottle breaks against the bow of the ship. MS The ship slides down into the water. Aerial shots of the boat as it slides down the slipway.
