    Ipswich, Suffolk

    WS. The newly named "The Suffolk Regiment" locomotive the latest addition to the L.N.E.R. line standing at a platform and decorated with Minden roses emblem of the regiment. LS. Brigadier General Sir John Ponsonby the Colonel in Chief on a stage. WS. The engine at the platform the Union Jack on it's side drops away to reveal the name plate and the steam pours out from the train's whistle.

    WS. "The Suffolk regiment" at Bury St. Edmunds pan along to see the train's carriages.

    N.B. LNER stands for London North Eastern Railway.

    At 00:05, bald gentleman in dark suit at bottom of podium holding notes is William Whitelaw, Chairman of the LNER and father of the Conservative politician. Chap with hat and moustache behind him looks like Arthur (AH) Peppercorn who was later CME of the LNER.
