    GV. From behind crowds at the start the wire is raised to start the horse race. GV. Horses rounding Tattenham corner with "Lost Soul" in the lead. GV. High Angle as the favourite "Montrose" starts a run on the outside pan with them as they pass 2 furlongs from home. GV. As Montrose owned by Lord Wollavington and trained by Fred Darling crossing the line second is "British Quota" and third "Lost Soul".
