Leader of American Communist Party, Eugene Dennis, is being questioned. There is a heated exchange between Mr. Dennis and members of committee. Mr. Dennis refuses to give the hearing the name he was born with, insisting Eugene Dennis was the name he has paid taxes with and is the only name he recognises. One of the men questioning him is Robert E. Stripling. In the end Dennis rises and states he holds this committee in contempt. Policemen surround him to lead him away, a court official tries to issue Dennis with a subpoena but he refuses to accept it.
