  • Short Summary

A group of actresses have a friendly game of golf.

  • Description

Intertitle reads: "A game in which Eve excels, Golf is one of her most popular sports."

Five actresses are seen discussing golf irons on the verandah of a house then leaving for the green. They are stage stars: Madeleine Seymour, Molly Ramsden, Madge Saunders, Fay Compton and Violet Lorraine. Their golfing skills are displayed. They all have male caddies. The girls walk along with their arms around each other. Looks like a grand girls' day out.

Although the title card gives the name "Violet Lorraine" this appears to be a common mis-spelling of her name. Photos of her from the era spell her name as Violet Loraine, like the example given here....

Fay Compton featured here went on to have considerable success, notching up around 75 credits, and continued working until 1970.
