    C/U of a photograph of St Mary's Football Club, taken 45 years earlier. The club became Southampton Football Club. We then see the present day line-up on their pitch.

    C/Us of manager George Kay and the medal he won leading West Ham in the final of 1923. Trainer Bert Lee is seen massaging the leg of a player. Several shots of the team in training - some shots in slow motion. Those seen are Laurence Fishlock, JWG Horton, McIlwane and Bill Adams (captain). M/S of Bill Light, 19-year-old player from the Southampton 'football nursery', wearing a suit. Bert Scriven is seen in goal as we hear that in his spare time he's a market gardener and pig breeder.

    "JWG Horton" is James "Sonny" Horton.

    "McIlwane" should read John McIlwaine.
